what a mess (weather stuff) |
a couple inches of snow followed by sleet followed by (now) freezing
rain (i hate to think of my phone and power lines right now) followed
later today by heavy (regular) rain. flood watches in effect blah blah
blah.
i wish this would have been all snow. two inches of rain makes how
much snow? a whole fuckin lot, right?
snow is so much better than this ice junk.
(dogs like snow. do not like icey sludge mess. poor wet feet.)
there were no animals at work that needed my tender loving care so i
did all the floors and trash, walked the boarding dogs, gave everybody
a snack, and left at midnight. thank god for reasonable management.

Depending on whether it's 'wet' snow or 'dry' snow, 2 inches of rain
could be 2 feet of snow.

i could deal with that. i'd have to dig out to go get more toilet
paper in the next few days, but otherwise, i'd be perfectly happy with
two feet of snow.

Me, too, and it is snowing in Boston. But I'm in the same weather pattern
as you and the change to sleet/freezing rain is rumored to be on its way.
Oh well. Do you have those little bootie things for the doggies?

enjoy. it's a real mess. i just hope it rains enough to wash away all
the sludge on my front sidewalk, because the thought of shoveling
slush just does not appeal to me.
i don't have booties for either of them. i keep thinking about getting
some for luce because she keeps cutting her feet on the ice when we go
for walks.
