A British animated film from the 80s. Anyone here seen it?
I remember having seen it eons ago, as a child. It seemed
like a sad story at the time, but nothing special. I just saw
it again. _Brilliant_ film.

I have the BBC radio production of the story. It's presented as a black
comedy.
Well, seeing them getting themselves into paper bags (following
the government advice for 'survival', more like to make disposing
of the corpses easier), while struggling through their last prayer
was sort of mirthful.
