when you're injured |
strangers seem more sympathetic and and caring towards you when
they see you have some type of injury... It's interesting...

It's easier to condone being crippled than crippled inside.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

but when you're disabled, people pretend you don't exist. when
my mg was bad, people wouldn't look at me. it would make my day
when someone looked me in the eye and smiled. i try to do that
for others, too.

I've noticed the same thing... that when people are nice to you,
when they look you in the eye, when they treat you like a human being,
it can really cheer a person up... Just that can make their day...
Sometimes I think a person can accomplish just as much by being
friendly and kind to another person, as they can doing just about
anything else...

Most of them, yes. But criminals prey on the weak.

long ago and far away, "alvintchase" <Icnh@hotmail.com> did say:

i don't know that that was true when i had a busted middle finger in a
splint and was constantly and unintentionally flipping off the world
during my commute ;)
