Why bother? |
Can anyone think of a good reason to keep going? It's just more of the
same, passing the time, waiting for a miracle cure. Waking up in the
morning, looking forward to going to bed at night.

Your son and your writing. You've got a great legacy in the
making.
My main goal at partial right now is to find some long-term

Gefilte fishy balls?
I wonder if this time of year isn't difficult for a lot of people.
You're not the only person I know who is going through a rough spot.
Keep going because it will pass; keep going for the people around you.
Those might not be good reasons but they're all I can come up with
right now.

Just because your Alan, your enough reason to get up. You're writing,
Wynne. The occasional laugh can be reflected on and cause more laughter, an
oh jeez the warm gooey brownie with vanilla ice cream oh hell ya have to
stick around for that!!!!! As for coffee, do you take it black or with
cream and sugar? If you take it with cream and sugar, try the coffee flavor
creamers, now those are to live for!
When do you see your pdoc again?

I go without for a week when that happens; I don't

Okay, now I'm officially concerned for
you, Alan. That's been a consistent
source of pleasure for you practically
the whole time I've been reading your
posts. Um, try a new bean? Get an
espresso maker? This sounds lamer than I
hoped it would but, geez, coffee is a
reason to live. imo.
You've got another appt. coming up with
the doc your wife called, don't you? Has
your state of mind improved at all since
the last you saw him? Your posts lately
sound (to me) as if there's a bit less
emotional turmoil but the numbness is
concerning, too. Do take care, lad.
