Object: Why does Taz....... (kittens)
...... have to accompany me to the bathroom every time?
If I leave the door open, he comes in for a couple of body swipes,
then takes up a sentry position at the door, looking down the hall,
with his tail wrapped around him.
If I leave the door shut, I find him outside the door in catloaf*
position.
Is he protecting me from the terrible bathroom fiends??
* catloaf (TM), elegy.

I think I'll ask Tig to explain that one. I'm absolutely sure she'll knopw
the answer... If she would just talk.

oh, there are all kinds of scary frick-e-fracks hiding in the bathroom, and
especially behind closed doors - Tsk Tsk - don't you know?

hmph. Well, at least Martha doesn't try to cover *my* poop like she
does the other two.

<blink>

elegy introduced the word to us. When a cat tucks its feet under
himself.

well..... *most* of the time.
At least, until Martha, Timmy & Bruno decide to join in.
It's rather freaky to open the bathroom door and find all four of them
carefully arranged in the hallway, according to size & position in
hierarchy.

unhappy.)

so tell me, what should I do? When she starts hissing, spitting and
growling, I squirt him. Sometimes it takes a bath before he knocks it
off.

I tend to roll up the newspaper and wave it at him. That often works. If it
doesn't , I toss a terry towel rag at him. That hasn't failed yet. It
startles him.
