Oh that's a terrible thing to say.
The only purpose of the egg and the sperm is to make a baby.
A human being is just sooooo precious, you have no idea.

Well, sorta correct. Actually all the extra sperm do provide some
nutrition to the developing zygote. But I guess you covered that.
So would you like to come over and do some basic biology with me?
I'd really like to make another baby before it's too late.

A human being is just sooooo precious, you have no idea.

Please come over her Saturday afternoon and explain it to me.
I already know, but it sure would be nice to hear it from you too,
especially while you're warming up in my arms, getting ready to do
the big biology project with me.

Wrong.
It's because you waste the potential you were created with.

We had a vote and decided we didn't want democracy, we want someone to
blame. Because of the stateliness of your carriage, you got the post.
It's honorary, but you do get a decoder ring.

Here's what I blame you for:
When you shared your pain about missing your son's wedding, my son had
been asking me to traverse the continent to visit him. It was all too
easy to say, "well, not enough time or $ right now, maybe in the
spring". But the pain in your post was like a whap upside my head. So I
melted my credit card a little and booked a flight right after reading
your story. It was one of our best visits. It wouldn't have happened,
probably, except for the urgency I felt reading your words. I wish, for
you, that my impulsive decision was based on reading a different,
"happier" scenario. But I'm very, very grateful for what you invoked in
me, Denise. May a similar visit with your son be just around the corner.
Thank you.
