Ok, it's not a party. It's just some cheap wine and cheeze-its.

I don't really like white wines, they're harsh on my stomach. I like white
grape juice though.

What's the use of such a party? I've never even been to one, but I can
tell you with reasonable certainty that wine and cheese do, in fact, taste
very different.

I think the idea is to get half a dozen wines and similar of cheeses,
and to try each combination or fall on the floor, whichever comes first.
I'm betting on the floor, since 720 glasses of wine each seems a bit
high.
I'd be stuck with wine and bread, but at least I can drink the wine, in
moderate quantities - some people on MAOIs can't.

just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

isn't it tthat they go good together?
IMO, an ice cream and orange juice tasting party would be the ultimate
in bad taste.

Just the other day I was trying to explain the relevant rule to my niece.
You can drink orange juice out of your emptied milk glass, but don't try to
drink milk out of an emptied orange juice glass. She thought I was nuts.
We didn't have any orange juice handy, so I had her eat a big spoonful of
cranberry sauce and wash it down with milk.
