french press,
strawberry pot,
Giant Panda's saving an endangered species. New book!
I love the giant Panda's there so interesting.
alas there is no money right now.
budget everything, Gas prices are really getting me down.
no vacation this year, I'll have to go the park and pretend its
some far off exotic local!
This weather is great, still I was looking at real estate booklets
from arizona and north carolina and I knew that home prices were more
in california, Still the difference is staggering really, why does
anyone live here??? jill

i can petend i'm having a holiday when i go to the movies,
especially if the story and locations take me far away, like
'seeing neverland' or 'hitchhikers guide to the galaxy' will
I'm due for one soon. Then a real - extended - holiday, for
a few weeks in another part of the world. It's gonna be in
June and its gonna be great. Got the tickets and the time!

I guess its the use of local as a destination which would make it a
noun, and then as a adjective. I am not sure technically if thats
allowed , maybe I am speaking a strange language, that would explain
alot about my life actually, ill

no, i understand perfectly now that you have explained it and i see it in
the context it was intended. I think you are speaking the language very
well. I'm just not hearing real good
it's not a use of the word 'local' that's so common over this side of the
planet. Not these days anyway, but i reckon it might've been once. Or at
least, it sounds familiar - maybe from the movies
but yes, i will be going away. Still within the country so the 'customs'
/language will be the same, but the 2,000kms or so distance certainly
creates a different atmosphere and provides the (welcome) mental break from
day to day routine
