well someone here thinks i live in Squamish B.C. ,
and right now most of Squamish is under water ,
and the poor people down there are being airlifted out of their destroyed
homes ,
so i was just trying to get a message to the person that thinks i live there
,
that if i was there i doubt i'd be posting right now , since the whole

You're already in the hills.

Tracy Barber

well someone here thinks i live in Squamish B.C. ,
and right now most of Squamish is under water ,
and the poor people down there are being airlifted out of
their

destroyed

homes ,
so i was just trying to get a message to the person that
thinks i live

there

,
that if i was there i doubt i'd be posting right now , since
the whole freakin place has no hydro

I may have misread some tables and traces, but your close. I
those people are ok---seems like 2 died unfortuneately.
Hopefully the woman you live with is ok too.

i'm no where near there , the closest you are is the right
province

,

but Squamish is about a 10 hour drive from here ,
i'm way up north of all that

He thinks he can resolve your IP and get into your neighborhood.
Wait and see if he does mine. I just love it when people have
no concept of how large the west is.

I was wondering when someone would clue in. Well obviously I
know, duh.

No worries, mate. I have a sat dsl.

what is your upstream/downstream out of curiosity?

On a good day, quiet with no weather, it might approach 128 up/down.
The main advantage to me is that it avoids long distance phone
charges.

Interesting,,,,reminds me 10 years back when we had laser links to
communicate between buildings----lots of rain and fog and you watch
the ping packets drop. You should be more robust than that.

You still don't understand Montana. I hate the word robust. Way
over used these days, imo. Let's call it powerful, or sturdy, hardy,
healthy or strong. But whatever you call it, that is good for here

What does montana have to do with anything?

Because that's where I live, and the connection is the best I can get.
