Well, I got my work cut out for me today. Gotta go clean an apartment
I'm moving into shortly. Gonna share it with this guy "Louie" who is a
raging alcoholic among other things.
Its the only thing I can afford right now so I have no choice in the
matter.
The place is a real pig sty. empty bottles everywhere, looks like he
hasnt taken the garbage out in months, the fridge and stove are filthy
and the place has a odd smell.
After I clean the place out I gotta wash the walls and paint everything,
maybe even shampoo the carpets but, I will have my own bedroom again and
wont be sleeping on a couch.
For only $300 a month I gotta take this place. Avereage rent in my area
is $800 a month and, theres no way in hell I can afford that right now.
I'm not looking forward to cleaning this place today and "Louie" will be
of no help what so ever I'm sure but, I guess staying busy will keep my
mind of of things.
On top of that I was woke up around 5am this morning by the sounds of
sex from the people in the room below me. Hearing the non-stop moaning
of "Oh Baby" and a headboard banging against a wall put me in a very
foul mood and all I could do was cover my head with a pillow and hope it
wouldnt go on for long.

Two words: earplugs. (OK, one compound word.) Seriously, they're cheap
and they can help a lot with unpleasant environmental noise.

You're describing hell...but a pretty funny situation if you don't take
it too seriously.

Ok the sex part shouldn't make me laugh but funny as hell. Go put an old
sock on the door handle with a note that reads "put a sock in her mouth next
time"
As far as the cleaning out, wish I lived closer I LOVE doing that stuff, cuz
when your done and it's all clean and smells clean, it'll feel good at what
you accomplished. That's what I LOVE about cleaning.

i don't do alcoholics well. i react to them the same way i as i feel
thunder storms.
begin as you mean to go. make your room a haven, someplace where you
can close out Louie and the world.
Do not begin by cleaning up after/for him because it will become a way
of life. If the kitchen is as bad as you imply, put hit mess on one
side and clean the other side of the room to be used by you. clean your
half of the table, stove, etc. if possible.
i do not envy you, i feel you are falling out of the frying pan. i've
lived with an alcoholic, it ain't nice.
