Gettin Ready To Raise Hell |
..... at least as much hell as a 66 yr old fart can raise, which ain't much.
Just took my Lyrica so I should be good and stoned my midnight... a few
cat-***** beers and I'll be flyin high by the time the flames from the grill
threaten to burn the top off my carport. Super Bowl wiped out all the good
steaks from Albertsons - could only find one tenderloin left. Gonna give the
kids a twenty and send them out to buy their own steaks.
Got my bottle of Ernie and Hulio Merlot and my fake ice cream and overpriced
sugarless chocolate topping... I'm all set.
Almost time to limp outside dance the night away. You're all welcome to come
if you can get here by midnight.

taking that type of medication and drinking is about as stupid as one can
get. you obviously are in serious need of mental care. those who are in
real need of pain relief don't "pop" pills to get "high", only addicts do.

knows he is joking about his monday night activities and if she wanted to
make the point clear she could have done so with tact, saying that she knows
he is kidding but for safty sake or whatever she suggests people not drink
and take thier meds..but no she was rude calling sombody a adict and stupid.
Remember... everytime you cry about people picking on her ..everyone simply
looks at the many posts like this one where she unprovoked attacks a poster

Look, Krom, I have no desire to debate this because there is frankly
nothing to debate. Reisa's a big girl and she can take care of
herself. I've never liked being told that I should not like someone
just because a majority tells me not to. I happen to think that Reisa
is a good person and has, despite selective memory of some, posted
lots of good information in this newsgroup and helped a number of
people.
I am only responsible for what I post here and most of the time it is
just a gut response or a passing opinion that really means nothing
other than that is what I am thinking at the time. We all sit down at
the computer and we read, react, and write. One observation that's
become clear to me is that in this newsgroup the mob mentality rules.
Some in that mob get a pass on posting insults and attacks where
seldom is heard a discouraging word when they do it. Yet others write
one post that irritates the angry bee hive and dozens of stinging hate
posts appear in response to that one. Seems to me like it's a pot-
kettle-black thing...or maybe it's all just a tempest in a teapot.

an hour or so before cooking it and you may get a pleasant
surprise in additional tenderness.

I usually do that with wine vinegar... but I'll try the merlot

The portion sizes I cook are small and fit in a standard
ramekin nicely. I pour just enough wine over it to cover and
sometimes add some chopped onions or herbs. Then leave it
for a while.
If I don't cook it on the barby I use a small cast-iron
skillet. After cooking, (sear both sides, then leave on one
side until blood appears, then turn for half the time that
took:-) while I rest the steak for a minute or two I pour
the marinade in the hot skillet onto the juices, stir
quickly while it bubbles and reduces, and as soon as it's an
appropriate consistency pour it over the steak as a sauce.
Sometimes I add a slosh of Worcestershire as it reduces.
