Installing: "The system adminstrator... etc." |
I'd be willing to bet that this subject has been discussed already,
however this time it's me <g>.
Installing legitimate copy of version 8, with no previous versions
(trial or otherwise) on this system XP SP2. I'm receiving the classic Windows
Installer message... "The system administrator has set policies to
prevent this installation".
I am administrative account. I've already "disabled" Windows Installer.
I have several Adobe products installed over the past 6 months with no problems
including Photoshop, Audition, Encore, Premiere, After Effects and, of course,
Reader.
Any suggestions?

Try turning off windows security and your antivirus program while you do the
install.
