Another "bad intel" attack kills innocents? |
I hope it is not true, but it appears that, once again, Bush launched
an attack based on bad intelligence that has killed innocent people in
Afganistan. There was no confirmation of an Al Queda death by the
military, people on site said that the "target" had never been there,
and the Afganistan government is filing an official complaint.
Innocents were killed.
The further we go, the more "bad intel" mistakes happen, killing
innocent people and making the US look bad. When will we stop Bush
from doing all of this? Will we let him take us into a war based upon
this same "intel" organization: the one that didn't know the USSR was
about to fall, got Iraq info all wrong, has no clue where Ben Ladin is,
and keeps making these mistakes?

I happily remove my protest here, as, now, the Pakistan government is
confirming that there were, in fact, terrorists killed in this strike.
My only remaining questions are A> what defines a terrorists that was
killed and B>does this mean that the government has rights worldwide to
strike "suspected terrorists" without a court?

So, if there were "bad" people killed in the WTC on 9/11, then it
was okay?
My only remaining questions are A> what defines a terrorists that was

What "court"?
Generally, military attacks are authorized - or were - in the
United States by the Congress and the President. (The last time
this was done as a declaration of war was 05 June 1942.)
