We love freedom. We love democracy. It would be good to have a
democracy in the middle east. We want regime change in Iran. The United
States and the UK overthrew the democracy in Iran. Why because at the
time a democracy in Iran was not good for the corporate interests of
the United States. In all his speech's about Iran Bush and the rest of
the government fail to talk about that and so does the news media.
I am not a fan of Iran. But if it was not for the United States Iran
would not have a nuclear program. The United Stated help start the Iran
nuclear. Another small fact they fail to point out.
The United States and Britain, in a covert operation of the CIA called
Operation Ajax, helped organize protests to overthrow Moussadeq and the
Democracit government of Iran. And return the Shah to power in Iran.
The Shah then began to rule as an absolute monarch.
Then in n 1979 Iranians revolted and the Ayatollah Khomeni and Islamic
conservatives took over.
So the Iran we have today. The Iran Bush calls part of the axis of
evil. Exists only because
the United States help to make it.
If it was not for the United States, Iran might be a democracy today.
All of the middle east might be a democracy today. I don't know, nobody
knows. But one thing is for sure by overthrowing the democracit
government of Iran, the people of the United States have committed a
crime against the people of Iran.
I did not say government of the United States, I said people of the
United States. It
would be easy to just say it's the government's fault or it's the
President's fault. But we as a people just sit back like sheep and let
it happen time and time again. We all have blood on our hands. It would
be easy to say Bush is a bad president, and that he is leading our
nation down the wrong path.
But Bush is just one man. One man alone can not lead a nation down the
wrong path alone. It takes a nation of sheep willing to walk down that
path.
As Shakespeare said "The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in the stars, but
in ourselves" .
Shame on us. Shame on us all
In Guatemala, United Fruit wanted Arbenz out.
Out he went.
In Chile, Allende offended the copper interests.
Allende - dead.
In Iran, Mossadegh offended major oil interests.
Mossadegh out.
In Nicaragua, Jose Santos Zelaya was bothering American lumber and
mining companies.
Zelaya - out.
In Honduras, an American banana magnate organized the coup of the
Honduran government.

That means that the Iranian government wanted to nationalize (take by
force) property belonging to Americans. A government that doesn't
recognize rights, even if democratically elected, is not legitimate.

In all his speech's about Iran Bush and the rest of
the government fail to talk about that and so does the news media.

Because it's not a fact.

Operation Ajax, helped organize protests to overthrow Moussadeq and the
Democracit government of Iran. And return the Shah to power in Iran.
The Shah then began to rule as an absolute monarch.

Governments do not have the right to rob foreigners, however much
leftists might wish otherwise.

Then in n 1979 Iranians revolted and the Ayatollah Khomeni and Islamic
conservatives took over.

So the Iran we have today. The Iran Bush calls part of the axis of
evil. Exists only because the United States help to make it.

Ayatollah Khomeni was able to take over because a wimpy liberal
president failed to support a friendly government.

If it was not for the United States, Iran might be a democracy today.

No. It might more likely be a socialist dictatorship, the kind approved
by the author.

All of the middle east might be a democracy today.

Fat chance!

I don't know, nobody knows. But one thing is for sure by overthrowing the
democracit government of Iran, the people of the United States have committed
a crime against the people of Iran.

No. The people of the United States defended their rights against a
renegade government of Iran.

I did not say government of the United States, I said people of the
United States. It would be easy to just say it's the government's fault
or it's the President's fault. But we as a people just sit back like sheep

It would be easy to say Bush is a bad president, and that he is leading our

This guy's real complaint is that the American people are not sheep,
that they are willing to defend their rights against terrorists,
dictators and tyrannical governments, even those democratically
elected.

But Bush is just one man. One man alone can not lead a nation down the
wrong path alone. It takes a nation of sheep willing to walk down that
path.

This guy would prefer that Americans be docile, submissive, servile,
willing to bow before terrorists.

As Shakespeare said "The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in the stars, but
in ourselves" .

Shame on us. Shame on us all

This guy considers defending the rights of U.S. citizens shameful.

In Guatemala, United Fruit wanted Arbenz out.

Out he went.

The U.S. defended Americans against a government.

In Chile, Allende offended the copper interests.

Allende - dead.

In Chile, Allende threatened to nationalize property owned by U.S.
citizens.

In Iran, Mossadegh offended major oil interests.

Mossadegh out.

Mossadegh threatened to forcably seize property belonging to U.S.
citizens.

In Nicaragua, Jose Santos Zelaya was bothering American lumber and
mining companies.

Zelaya - out.

Zelaya threatened to forcably take property belonging to American
citizens.

In Honduras, an American banana magnate organized the coup of the
Honduran government.

American citizens organized to prevent their property from being taken
by a government that doesn't recognize rights.

http://novus-ordo-seclorum.us/

In each case, the question is: does sovereignty reside in the state or
the individual. If the former, than the government has the right to
seize property from its citizens and foreigners. It would also have the
right to kill, torture, maim anybody who falls in its hands.
If the latter, then it's the duty of the government to protect the
rights of citizens and foreigners within its borders. If it violates
rights, then that government is open season to other governments of
citizens so threatened.

I was thinking about this jerk's "if it weren't for the U.S., this place and
that place would be democratic." In fact, if you look at the pre-U.S. world,
the OPPOSITE would be true. NO PLACE , with the possible exception to
Brittain (and with a failed revolt in the Colonies, that's a bif if) would
have a democracy. It's only because we proved it can work that there's any
place else that has a democracy. Look at all the places that are democracies
today because the United States had a hand in giving it to them, directly or
otherwise.

OK, let's say the United States did NOT exist. Maybe we don't rebel against
the British at all or maybe we lose the rebellion. You way about the King
