Object: Conclusion about liberals and choices
I've concluded that the only reason that liberals fight for choices for
women but then turn around and limit choices for classroom discussion
topics is that liberals are practicing double standards; a form of
slavery.

_Of course_ you do!
You want to base all teachings and decisions on faith, on theology. You are
absolutely incapable of understanding people who base their thinking on
facts.

Sorry Fred, your conclusions are inaccurate. The conservatives are as
selective as anyone when it comes to their agenda.
An example is currently before the Supreme Court as we speak. Conservatives
preach less government until it comes to
our personal freedoms, then they want all the government they can garner to
control the people. Note the issue coming up
in Indiana regarding having/raising children.
Lets end on a positive note and take a moment to thank the folks who have
actually served America:
This could be the last election where military service in Vietnam has any
political currency. But just for the record, it's worth noting who really

You concluded that before you ever got here - and have been completely
blind to any and all evidence to the contrary since you've been here.
You are nothing but a troll.
I suggest you take your thinly disguised whines for government money to
talk.origins, where your ridiculous anti-science crap may be properly
disassembled and lubed for storage. Your 'talents' are wasted here.

Nothing but unsubstantiated generalizations. I evidently hit the nail
on the head.

If the time comes that someone can freely sell your children,
and your wife has to sleep with him if he so wishes, than
you can start making claims about "slavery".
Until such time, you're merely being presumptious.

Is it your position that "classroom discussions" should be totally
without limit or are protected by the first amendment? Isn't it
actually your position that teachers should be compelled to talk about
intelligent design and provide information on it to balance what you
consider an unfair emphasis on the overwhelming scientific consensus
understanding of the origin of species through natural selection. Is
your "free speech" argument that teachers should be free to say what
they are told to say by their school board or someone else, regardless
of their own views?

Well, There ya go
A "womans choice" is a matter of PRIVACY. The foundation of making a
"choice" of what medical procedures any person faces should not be
subject to government approval.
Limiting "classroom debate" isn't connected to privacy---and the
connection (speech) has been adjudicated to death.
