"Goodness" without God |
Human rights will always be violated wherever God is rejected. Lacking the
immutable standard for good in Jesus Christ and by His authority,
morality and respect for one another's rights are subject to our own
individual definitions of fairness. "Human Rights" thus become relativistic,
and defined by whomever gets to make the rules.
Examples of countries which have attempted respect "Human Rights" without
acknowledging the authority of God in setting the standards, include France,
Socialist Germany, Communist Russia, Cambodia, China, N Korea.
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."[Hebrews 13:8]

Human rights will always be violated wherever God is rejected.
The only time we've been able to secure human rights is when "God" has been
ejected from the government.
morality and respect for one another's rights are subject to our own
individual definitions of fairness.
Which is far preferable to the time when morality and respect from one
another's rights was subject to the dictates of the priesthood.

Yes, because organized religion has *such* a long history of respecting
human rights.
