Baker immunity hearing is continued

Maysville, Ky. - Officials from Ohio and Kentucky were back in Mason
County Thursday to discuss what was and wasn't said between prosecutors
while investigations were being conducted into the death of Marcus Fiesel.
Fiesel, a three-year-old developmentally disabled foster child, was
bound with tape by his foster parents and left in a closet, where he
died. Fiesel's foster father, David Carroll and live-in girlfriend Amy
Baker brought Fiesel's body to Brown County, where it was burned. The
remains were later thrown into the Ohio River, which falls under
Kentucky jurisdiction.
Baker was a key witness in the case against David Carroll and his wife
Liz's murder trials. Both received prison sentences.
During Liz Carroll's trial, Baker testified that she helped dispose of
Fiesel's body. She was granted immunity in Ohio in exchange for her
testimony, so long as she did not play a direct role in Fiesel's death.
Apparently Ohio prosecutors felt that an agreement for Baker's immunity
had been reached across the river as well, and were surprised when she
was charged with tampering with evidence, a felony that could carry up
to five years in prison.
The hearing in Mason County Circuit Court is being conducted to
determine if Kentucky and Ohio prosecutors had, in fact, struck a deal
to protect Baker in exchange for her testimony, or if an agreement of
that type could have been legally reached in the first place.
Several witnesses were called during the hearing to give their account
of events leading up to Baker's indictment in Mason County. Chief
Prosecutor of Hamilton County Daniel "Woody" Breyer stated that Hamilton
prosecutors had given Baker immunity for all actions following the
murder, excluding the murder itself, and that without Baker's willing
help the fate of Fiesel would still be in the air.

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.
