Bay Windows - Boston,MA,USA
Two Lexington families filed a suit in federal court April 27 against
several Lexington school officials, accusing them of trying to
?indoctrinate? their children into approving of same-sex relationships and
violating their rights to be the primary moral educators of their children.
Jeffrey Denner, who is representing both families, said that by refusing to
notify the families whenever discussions of homosexuality or same-sex
couples and parents might come up in their classroom they are usurping the
parents? rights. He said the school violated the state?s parental
notification law, which obligates schools to notify parents before lessons
dealing primarily with sexuality and giving them the option of removing
their children from the discussion. He also said the school violated the
parents? religious freedom by offering teachings about homosexuality that
are contrary to their families? religious faith. In the lawsuit both
couples describe themselves as "Judeo-Christians."
.... that while parents are encouraged to share their religious values with
their children in the home, the school must observe the separation of
church and state. ...

.. . . You can't understand a phrase such as "Congress shall make no law
respecting an establishment of religion" by syllogistic reasoning. Words
take their meaning from social as well as textual contexts, which is why "a
page of history is worth a volume of logic." New York Trust Co. v. Eisner,

That philosophy 'snipit' helped to get me, and my crew, through a good
many combat missions and far too many scary, inflight, emergencies.
It has also played a significant role in helping me to expose the
plethora of radical Christian propaganda and lies that we find at
almost every media turn.
