Re : : Najaf - Bush is trapped in more violence |
Najaf
How foolish can Bush and Allawi get? Bush may kill many thousands
more, and after horrible destruction win this 'battle', but he
will certainly continue to lose the 'war'.
You cannot kill tens of thousands of Iraqis in their own country,
destroy the world's largest sacred cemetery and the holiest Shia
shrine and then win 'hearts and minds'. You cannot buy police and
militias and have them start killing their own countrymen with your
weapons, your gunships and bombers, and your advice.
For every thousand you kill, five thousand more will join the
resistance, all over Iraq and even outside Iraq.
Bush's ‘battles' are now escalating, but it is clear
that the illegal and immoral colonial war cannot be won.
And that is good, colonial wars - anno 2003 and 2004 - must be
lost. Otherwise more of these will take place the coming decades.
Wagers of illegal colonial wars never deserve victory. Because
victory for sure would mean enslavement and robbing of the victims.
That would be a reward for global crimes. Conquerors never come for
'liberation'. They always claim they do.
Bush and his minions have no right to be in Iraq, no right whatsoever.
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
But the warmonger is now trapped: The more he attacks, the more
enemies he creates. That's why the war is lost.
In a news article today -- ‘no good options':
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20040815/pl_afp/us_iraq_040815191504
That was already known some time ago. Bush is trapped. If he kills
more, with Allawi his willing CIA-servant doing his bidding, the
resistance will increase. If he removes his armies, his opponents will
make an Islamic state, as in Iran. That's why the reckless warmonger
should never have launched this immoral and illegal war. It is a
crime and a global strategic mistake.
That's why this war is a foolish denial of reality. As in Vietnam.
The terrible aspect, as in Vietnam, is that the gangsters see now no
way out so in their rage they will increase large scale bombing and
killing in a land they came to 'liberate' -- in a desperate attempt
to postpone the inevitable.
The bullies cannot face defeat so they must lash out even harder.
And many thousands more will have to die, in their own country.
And so Bush is compounding his crime.
