Gullibility is a product of the unformed mind.
Which is why tests often show university students near the top
while businessmen are near the bottom.

Hmmm...meaning university students are near the top of the
gullibility-curve, whereas businessmen are near the bottom?
Where money and other worldly matters are concerned, Yes...
Because university students must pay through the proverbial
nose whether or not they question university authority. And
students are strongly discouraged from questioning orthodox
authority lest their grades suffer as a result. Gullibility
is therefore a prerequisite weakness of university students
if they expect to earn the good grades required to graduate
in the oppressive climate of tenure and academic bureaucracy.
By contrast, business professionals are strongly encouraged
to maximize their corporate earnings while minimizing loses.
Business professionals are often graduates of the very same
academic bureaucracy, but in order to "avoid being scammed by
con artists", they must quickly learn to think for themselves
and to reach their own informed decisions about who's who and
what's what--not only by conventional means, but often through
intuition, on "gut instinct": i.e. something they DON'T teach
you to do in most orthodox institutions of "higher" learning.
