The Paluxy river runs through New Mexico?

Nah. Obviously the 10Cs are up there on that mountain in New Mexico
because some Israelites (members of the Lost Tribes of Israel)
inscribed them there when they journeyed to the New World. Read the
Book o' Moron<cough>Mormon.

;->

Given that it took them forty years, I estimate that the Hebrews
made just under 100 feet a day. And given that they were
trucking along day and night -- pillar of cloud, pillar of smoke, you
may recall -- the only way I can account for it taking SO long
is that God was just too much of a Guy to admit he was lost
nearly the whole time.

Ever try to get, say, 10 kids moving?
Now imagine how long it would take to get 600,000 men, their wives and
children and all their animals moving.
It took 40 years, because they made the trip in one day - ONCE THEY
GOT MOVING.

The story always amused me. They had the time to gather wood for a
fire, gather water to use in cooking, grind the grain into flour, get
a night's sleep (attend to other needs), but not the time to allow the
dough to sit for 15 minutes to rise (wheat flour is self-rising in
about 15 minutes).
Did any of the Bible writers ever actually go camping? This is just
more proof of the old writer's admonition, "Write about what you
know."

Matzoh is very constipating so they were probably waiting around for most of the

But I hear that Manna is a strong laxative, so it evens out.
