So Long Tookie?

Will the Terminator further alienate his base by sparing the life of a
four-time killer, racist gang organizer?
The victims were old, and angry. A mob of Black teenagers had run through
the Los Angeles Chinatown of the early 1970s, beating random elderly Asian
shop-keepers with canes and robbing them to cries of "Slants!" "Gooks!"
"Chinks!" The victims, whose culture is thousands of years old and which
puts a high premium on the respect due to old age, were understandably
upset. Here were young thugs whose "culture" had produced nothing -- not
even numeracy -- and who probably did not even know the names of their own
fathers, attacking venerable Chinese businessmen whose only apparent crime
was not to pay the police for better protection.
LAPD harness bulls responding to the scene were met with angry Cantonese
whose only inscrutability was their lack of English. They were clearly
angry as hell, but unable to make themselves understood to the White
policemen. Finally, one of the Chinese came forward, limping, hobbling and
exclaiming: "Crip! Crip!" The puzzled cops suddenly realized what he was
saying: he was imitating a cripple holding a cane. Cane-wielding Blacks had
attacked the Chinese! Thus were the Crips -- the most dreaded Black gang
ever to plague the United States -- born.
On December 13, 2005, one of the co-founders of the Crips is supposed to
die.

Stanley Tookie Williams, self-confessed co-founder of the Crips, murdered
four innocent people in 1979. ("Tookie" is not a nickname, but his legal
middle name, shared with the male who fathered him on his 17-year-old
mother). Appropriately, given his gang's anti-Chinese racist foundations,
three victims were Taiwanese businesspeople: Yen-I Yang and Thsai-Shaic
Yang and their daughter, Yee Chen Lin.
Earlier, Williams had shotgunned to death White 7/11 clerk Albert Owens for
a measly $120. (Like most Black criminals, Tookie was happy to talk about
being "rich" but was really a small-time hood. The Yang murder netted the
Negro a cool C-note.) When a witness asked why Williams had murdered Owens,
Tookie claimed "because he was white and [Tookie] was killing all white
people." High on “Angel Dust” – a violence-inducing narcotic -- Tookie had
been possessed with the desire to murder those manifestly better than
himself. Needless to say, had Tookie been a White criminal founder of a
racist White gang killing Asians and Blacks and boasting about it, there
would be no discussion. But Tookie is Black and has been a taker all his
life, and so there is a movement afoot to "save" him. In the 1990s he
allegedly renounced the “gang life” and charted a course to
“redemption” (while refusing to turn in associates or admit to the
murders). He wrote a series of children’s books so stupid that they are an
insult. His supporters even have a slogan on their website: “Arnold: Do the
right thing for the children!” But…he’s Black, and a racist killer, so…
There have been rallies. One, led by the puerile and profane rapper “Snoop
Doggy Dogg” – himself a former Crip – was held at the gates of San Quentin
itself. Tookie’s Crips, who still allegedly send him substantial
contributions, have threatened to riot if he is executed. Sadly for Tookie,
the Crips, like all Black gangs, are now a joke in downmarket Los Angeles,
on the run from the Mestizo sets who today rule the streets of the barrio
which used to be the ghetto.
Out of weakness, Austrian immigrant and steroid action star Arnold
Schwarzenegger, agreed to hear arguments about clemency for the vicious
killer. If he grants Tookie life, Schwarzenegger – a personally likeable
oaf – will look like a coward while alienating what few friends he has left
in the Golden State. If he lets Tookie die, California may once again shame
the nation with a series of violent incidents that will show the fraud of
multiracialism for what it is.
