Don't try too hard on any account, mine or otherwise. Perfection is in the mind
of the beholder alone and no other. Often associated with insanity, appreciated
by nobody, but one's self ;-)
I do alot of writing. References will be forever important for others to
ridicule, condemn, and dispute in order to look pretty. A tiny fraction of
people will review those references to see where an idea is being built and why.
To understand how it got built. Very important.
To take it further, more important yet.
Taking credit for one's own advancement upon another's works leading to improved
life conditions, probably most important.
To achieve perfection is to be perfectly insane. To achieve perfection through
another's standard of perfection is to re-inforce another's insanity.
After you're done reading that for the fourth time.... Reference quotes when
possible. Occasionally, they cannot be easily referenced or not at all due to a
variety of reasons on the web that I'm aware of. Quote the whole thing if that
is the case. Attach a name to it. I'll never tell.
You will do better. You will learn. It is inevitable. It is my most sincere
desire that you never achieve perfection.
