Dear Corrupt Inbred Politician,
Are all of you in Louisiana as corrupt and inbred as you seem on TV? What
kind of web-footed weasel would declare "Scientology Month?" That is the
ultimate scam, and the fact that you folks are endorsing it is beyond
pathetic.
Thank God I don't live anywhere near Louisiana, and I hope the U.S.
Government cuts bait and sells Louisiana back to France. You are too corrupt
and stupid to be American.

I started an email campaign and a friend of mine received the following
response from Mayor Durel. For the record, my friend did NOT threaten
the Mayor, it was a miscommunication:
I believe I did sign the proclamation that you are referring. It was
put before me with a stack of papers to sign when we were dealing with
much larger issues. I was told that it was routine, and that it had
been done for years. I may have made a mistake, and hopefully I will
learn from it. Please continue to communicate, and there is no reason
to use threats. Just good Christian communication.

My letter:
Did Joey Durel really declare October as "Scientology Month?" If so,
will
November be declared "Mafia Month?" Or perhaps "Neo-Nazi Month?"
Can you really be utterly ignorant about the systemic child abuse in
the Scientology business? What about the huge number of suicides? Or
the very large number of mysterious deaths? http://whyaretheydead.net
lists only a few (around 120) of the many more dead because of
Scientology.
When you proclaim "Scientology Month" you slap the face of every
victim of Scientology who has been killed, maimed, sexually molested,
harassed, or framed for crimes they have not committed. How can
anyone not know what USA court judges have to say about the criminal
enterprise? Or what thousands of Scientology victims have to say?
I have court transcripts, declarations, affidavits, and dockets
by the hundreds (http://holysmoke.org/cos/docs) that show very
clearly that Scientology is organized crime. When you proclaim a
"Scientology Month" you not only make a fool of yourself: you also
support and defend organized crime.
If you did or if you did not proclaim "Scientology Month" please
let me know. If you did, my organization will issue a public
condemnation.

Several of my relatives are from Louisiana.
Fortunately they all escaped major damage to their homes from Hurricane
Katrina other than downed trees on their property and ripped off awnings.
None of them are Scientologists but my cousin Lisa has read my website and
may peek in on this newsgroup from time to time.
