Object: Tyranny of Leftist Intellectual
The dehumanized tyrant leftist/Democrat, while ridiculing the idea
that conservative people are compassionate, prove their propensity for
ridicule is borne out of their lack of compassion.
America has two wars to fight:
World-wide Terrorism and America's neoMarxist Leftists' Subversion
One enemy is violent killer, the other enemy is a subtle malignancy.

INTELLECTUALS AT WORK
"Andrew Bolt [Aus?] points to the deplorable record of siding with
tyranny that intellectuals have. It wouldn't have anything to do with
intellectuals themselves wanting to be tyrants, would it? Excerpt: "We
are reminded of the three wars America and its friends have fought in
the past 60 years against totalitarianism -- the fascism of the Nazis,
the communism of the Soviet Union, and the Islamic fascism sponsored
by regimes such as Iran's. And, each time, which class of people in
the West tended to side with these enemies of humanity, in thought,
deed or omission? Who? The intellectuals of the Left -- the folk who
contrast the messy world of free people with the disciplined
perfection of steel dreams and paper plans, and find freedom ugly.
Before World War II, many sophisticates in Britain and France urged
against confronting Hitler. It would just goad him, they said. And
didn't he have reasonable claims?" ~John Jay Ray, PhD.

Worldwide terrorism is a sticky wicket, seeing as how we're up to our
***** in it to start with. And the scourge of Neo-conservative Zionism is
one of the major obstacles to any solution from the current occupation
of the White house. http://tinyurl.com/28dgs

The following comments are not directed at "nan",
but at the writer of the article below, which is the
kind of junk that is all too common on Fox News,
etc.

Chile (killing Salvador Allende because he was a leftie)? Brazil
(under the colonels)? Zaire under Mobutu (by first assassinating
the elected head of government, Patrice Lumumba, because he
might be... left-leaning)? Support for Apartheid in South Africa,
Southwest Africa (Namibia), Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), and support
for the colonial regimes of Portugal in Mozambique, Angola... until
this Fascist regime itself fell in 1975?
That's right, support for fascism in Europe in Portugal, Spain
and even a military government in Greece, the birthplace of democracy?

It wouldn't have anything to do with
intellectuals themselves wanting to be tyrants, would it? Excerpt: "We
are reminded of the three wars America and its friends have fought in
the past 60 years against totalitarianism -- the fascism of the Nazis,

I guess this is where education pays off.
Statism is not the prerogative of the extreme left. In fact, if you look
back at the 1920s and 1930s, _all_ extremists (communists, nazis,
fascists) believed that modernity could be equated with big government,
eugenics, involuntary euthanasia, etc.

Before World War II, many sophisticates in Britain and France urged
against confronting Hitler. It would just goad him, they said. And
didn't he have reasonable claims?" ~John Jay Ray, PhD.

And was his madness entirely predictable?
May I add that the USA did not "confront Hitler" until they were
bombed into the war by Japan, in late 1941? Nine years after
Hitler came to power, 2 years _after_ he invaded Poland, and
a full year _after_ he had overrun all of Western Europe?
For that matter, the Soviet Union did not confront Hitler,
in fact collaborated with him, until he actually invaded
Russia itself.
I mean, if you're going to engage in historic revisionism,
at least you should know your facts. Especially when
contrasting yourself with the "sophisticates" on the
other side of the argument. Or you actually _will_ end up
looking like a bumpkin.
