Object: Using Hollywood to fund the school system
Hello Everyone,
My name is Travis Harrison. I'm the Senior Project Director for a unique
film event called The Search for John Lennon. At your convenience, we
invite you to go to www.ts4jl.com for complete details of how we're using
the largest entertainment event ever orchestrated as the catalyst for an
educational trust - a trust designed to help fund the rebirth of our
national school system. I am asking for your help in letting the talent of
our state know we're coming. Over the next year, as we finish the
pre-production tour and move into the production aspects, we will rise from
relative anonymity to national prominence and, by doing so, we will bring
the focus of the entertainment industry to Colorado. I know this sounds
terribly arrogant, but we think we've created systems that do exactly what
we hope they will do. We're trying to make a difference, not just a movie.
As the project developed it became something much bigger than anything we
first conceived. It became my purpose. This all started because I love to
write. It was through writing that I learned to understand and see the
simple patterns of commonality through all life. This film project and all
of its surrounding aspects are the culmination of these observations. As
you will see when you've taken the opportunity to review the information
found on our site, we are trying to coordinate virtually every media and
entertainment outlet into a single celebration for our education system,
using our production as the conduit. In order for this to succeed, it has
to be the will of the people to see it through. The more accepted practices
for film production do not apply to our actions, as we challenge much of
what the Hollywood establishment reveres. In order to justify our immense
agenda, we have to prove the market exists. This is why the interactive
aspects were introduced into our production. Developed in coordination with
our educational agenda, the interactive elements were created to re-instill
the passion for learning that our current society appears to have forgotten,
or at the very least ignored. The only way to enact any measurable degree
of impact on the school system the desire to improve it must be manifested
in our citizenry. What we proposing is nothing short of an intellectual
revolution. We've been positioning this system for more than a decade,
waiting for the technology to catch up to our requirements. That moment is
now at hand. With the current innovations in communications and the
improved quality of digital videography, we are on the threshold of creating
the amazing. However, to succeed we need help. We need others who feel
things can be changed to help carry our message. Writers, poets, and
essayists who use their words to help explain the confusions our inherent
hypocrisies create. Relevant essays will be published on our site, and a
collection will be published by me team at the conclusion of the development
tour. Just help us let everyone know we're coming and all things become
possible. Thank you for your time, and I apologize for rambling. There's a
lot to try and explain briefly. Again, I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Travis Harrison
