"Virgin birth" proven by science |
In birds, bees and now sharks.....
***Virgin Birth: Shark Expert Comments On Parthenogenesis***
Science Daily — Birds do it, bees do it, and now there is evidence that female sharks are able to
do it on their own -- without the contribution of male DNA. A recent report from a team of American
and Irish researchers has concluded that the mysterious appearance in 2001 of an infant female
bonnethead shark at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo in a tank that held only two adult female sharks was
the result of parthenogenesis (Gr. virgin birth.) Parthenogenic reproduction takes place without
fertilization by a male through the process of cell division, when the mother’s egg fuses with a
degenerative cell called a polar body, producing a new individual.

What's all the hoopla over "virgin birth", especially as Christians
describe it. Given todays technology, all you need is to find a virgin
that is capable of giving birth (most likely the hard part in this
equation) and take her to almost any fertility clinic. With egg
harvesting and in vitro fertilization we can get her pregnant with
ever breaking her hymen or ever having sperm inside her. More over
with todays technology and morals she would at least have some say
over the process and be able to pick the father. now it you were
unscrupulous and the women a little naive, you probably could do it
with out the women realizing that you are getting her pregnant, but
that would be totally unethical not to mention illegal. Hmm, should
Megan's Law apply to God.

That would make a great YouTube video. Show the priest about to baptize

the music, of course.

Parthenogenic reproduction
Is commonplace in biology.
can only produce female offspring.
In humans and other mammals. Jesus must have been a girl, or
perhaps miracles unsupported by science were required after all.
In some others types of animals [birds, some lizards] it produces
only males. In others it produces only females, such as in those
asexual whiptail lizards in the southwest that engage in "lesbian"
sex activities with one another to stimulate egg production.
In Hymenoptera, unfertilized eggs produce haploid males, whereas
fertilized eggs produce diploid females. Drone bees thus have no
father.
In plants, asexual reproduction may typically produce bisexual
individuals like their parents commonly are.
