Wayner Schissler Website on Homeschooling |
Wayner Schissler has a website at
http://members.aol.com/selah1998/ which is also linked to
http://www.selahinc.com/homepage.htm
A very poor site for quality or scholarly information on homeschooling.
Wayne Schissler states "I'm always ready to listen to the opposing view on
just about any subject. Knowing the other side of an issue can give you
insights on your own beliefs, and can strengthen them as well as change
them" http://members.aol.com/selah1998/philo.htm
....but is unfortunately unable to do so with me. ;-)
Wayne's site is correct on this .........

Some people were control freaks. They wanted to present their opinion of
how things were, who ran what, what was OK and not OK to do, which
things were "good" and which were "bad". You ran across them every
so often.

Sounds like the Trew Homeskoola on misc.education.home-school.christian!
The link http://scottbryce.com/mehsc/cgi-bin/faq.pl doesn't work.
The link Assessments4Kids "Online Clinic is involved with helping parents
and students reach their maximum educational potential. Their assessments
specialize in reading, math, and language." also doesn't work ... but Wayne
Schissler doesn't know the difference between assessment and evaluation ...
and won't debate me. He prefers to remain ignorant and cry "Troll!" every
now and then.
Hey! MOST of the links don't work!!!!! ... sort of like Wayne's ideas
about me.

In our times, various ideologically dedicated groups increasingly use
censorship, coercion, or propaganda to limit access to ideas, literature,
and the arts that they consider threatening. p.74
Censorship, the twin brother of propaganda, is the tool of despots, of
ideologues, of ayatollahs, of fanatics. p.96
