Which states do not support social promotion? |
Hello,
Could someone tell me which states do not support social promotion in
elementary grades? Or is there a website with a list?
Thanks!

California does NOT support social promotion as of about 5 years ago.
They've also instituted a high school exit exam and more stringent
graduation requirements including having passed an Algebra 1 course.
I'm not familiar with other states.
