Yippie, Ya-hoo, I'm Done Posting |
After many years of my posting, let the celebrations begin. I'm done.
I know I have said that before and came back. However, I have little
or no reason or desire to do so anymore. So, let the celebrations
begin. The self-proclaimed fool (in the eyes of sinners) has gone
away.
Why do I do this? I finally realized posting here is pointless, for
either side. With the hostility and bitterness on the board, few (if
any) truly openminded people will stay and read (and not at all post)
on these groups. Why? Who chooses to throw themselves into the fire?
So, all you will find here is people with closed minds pushing their
own agenda. After 4 years of experience here, that describes 95
percent of all that I have found here. So, if everyone has closed
minds and speaks more than listens, what can possibly result but
bitterness, argument, and dispute. Who will be converted (either in
terms of faith or politics) among those that only come here with a
one-sided agenda?
If you are a Christian, those on the Christian boards are either A>
already saved like you or B> adamantly opposed to the faith. If you
are an anti-Christian, you are either speaking to the choir, or you are
coming off as hostile to the other side. So, you will make no new
converts and do nothing but waste time here. If you are interested in
true education, in my 4 years of experience on education groups, maybe
1 in 500 posts is actually educational.
So, if you are looking for a fight, this is the place for you. If not,
join me in living life off these groups, not just arguing about those
that do.

obtain good information that later may change their lives for the better
by what you post.
We can do nothing with the fools and should not even try. They are not
even aware of their foolishness so it is pointless, however, there are
many sincere people looking for the truth and if we post the true gospel
only God knows into which heart it might land and change them for
eternity.
I see it this way: we are simply the envelopes. As such we carry the
gospel as the message.

bigoted towards those who do not share your faith, so you give the rest
of us no reason to change our minds, but rather reinforce our attitudes

You all confirm the view I already held, that religion _is_ intolerance,
