OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha man is under arrest on suspicion of sexual
assault on a 4-year-old, Omaha police said.
Eugene Snitily was booked on suspicion of sexual assault of a juvenile,
according to Sgt. Teresa Negron. He was released from jail on Thursday
afternoon.
Snitily is accused of touching a 4-year-old girl on more than one
occasion between March and August.
The child was interviewed by Project Harmony, and a worker there
recorded her story.
Snitily is on the board of Youth Emergency Services, a shelter for
children who've been abused.
Snitily turned himself in at 7:15 a.m. Thursday and is due in court
Friday for a bond hearing.
Officials said the child was not associated with Youth Emergency
Services. The alleged incidents were first reported by the girl's mother
on Aug. 30.
The mother said Snitily was watching the child while she was at work.
The alleged abuse was discovered when the mother unexpectedly came home
from work one day and found her daughter not wearing underwear, the
mother said.
The mother told KETV NewsWatch 7 that the child thought it was a game.

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.
