But as for the passage from the book of Ecclessiastes, I think the
argument is weak and appeals to authority in a way not too valid. Fool
as translated from the Hebrew needs to be compared to common usage of
the term before we can actually debate uses of the bible as replacable
with contemporary language usage of the specified terms. Then it needs
to be determined if any of these believers who are not fools can be
ignorants or geniuses. Thereupon revealing vaguity and some ambiguity,
we need to consider a change of argument media-type, or in other words
let us recast the statement about believing and foolishness into a
formal hypothetical disjunction.
If a person does not believe in this God then that person is a fool.
Obviously the antecedent does not "imply" the consequent so something
else must be added to conclude that non-believers are fools.
What if the passage meant;
(IF) God exists and one doesn't believe in it, (THEN) one is a fool?
This would be the best alternative for the God-fearin' since fool isn't
an implication but merely a synonym for the phrase (God exists and you
don't believe)

Watched the video; they did have a disclaimer on "support of the
position {philosophical atheism}" and further stated their purpose was
to enhance the view/perception of "people who were atheist"....i.e the
video **wasn't** intended to be an argument for atheism, not did it
offer any arguments.
I had some side issues, but unfortunately this thread has been
infected, so-o-o-o-o-
should have replied sooner.

I this way agnosticism, atheism, and theism can be said to be logical.

Logic, as a tool of the mind, can work with or without true premises.
If the premises are not easy to determine then a logical process can
still ensure without a problem.
eg.
God is the creator.
Mikey was created

Clearly there may be a problem with the first statement, though it does
not say much. One can logically say that as there was a time when
things were not as they are now - then we can assume that they came
into being.
The real problem was the second statement Mikey may not have been
created, bceasue he emerged from green slime behind the toilet seat.
However, if the first tow stements are correct then there is nothing
wrong woth the last one.
Agnosticism is a perfectly good position to take.
