Best Philosophical / Observational Writings |
Looking for good reads, short to medium length essays or writings by
famous or not-so-famous philosophers...
I just finished "Antichrist" by Nietzsche which was amazing. What else
should I consider checking out - any subject matter, I'm not picky in
my interests. Religiously focused I find fascinating, specifically.
Thanks.

Try Nagarjuna's Mulamadhyamakakarika. (Usually
referred to as the MMK.) Garfield's The Fundamental
Wisdom of the Middle Way is a good translation.
Opening to a random page:

Causes and conditions makes no sense.
If essence came from causes and conditions,
Then it would be fabricated." -- MMK XV.1

Garfield could be the new Schrodinger's cat !!! Although he puts too much
energy into the "Middle Way", which is why he's such a fat cat :-)

The actual essence doesnt arise from causes, but the fabrications do. The
cause?...the universal mind.
What you see is what you get.....from a universe of neutral essence.
