And what is the theory on what is using so much juice?

They may not have his electric bill. Nashville newspaper investigated the
story and the electric company told them that no one had come to them
requesting copies of the bills.
Why so much usage? Because Gore's "30 room mansion" is part home, part
office, part Secret Service office.
As with ALL former presidents and VP's, Gore has a big load of public
appearances, correspondence, and the like, all of which requires an
administrative staff of secretaries, speech writer, etc. Carter's staff
works out of the Carter Center in Atlanta; Bush I's staff is in an office
building in Houston. Gore's staff is in the home, along with his Secret
Service detail -- a total of nearly 20 people, all of whom use electricity.
Of course, you won't hear any of this from the rightwing lie machine.
In fact, if you read the story, then calculate that electricity usage as a
function of square footage of the house, you find that Gore's house is using
approx the same amount of electricity per square foot of floor space as
other houses.

Actually it was a liberal pro-Green environmental organization that
published the report. The same group that monitors water usage by Bill
Gates

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A day after actor Leonardo DiCaprio hailed
Al Gore on the Oscar stage as a "inspirational leader in the fight
against global warming," the former vice president was forced to
respond to charges from a Tennessee organization that his home
consumes significantly more energy than the national average .
The Tennessee Center for Policy Research charged Monday that Gore's
"mansion" "consumes more electricity every month than the average
American household uses in an entire year."
"The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours
(kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore
devoured nearly 221,000 kWh -- more than 20 times the national
average," the group charged in a statement.
"Al Gore has to be willing to walk the walk, not just talk the talk,
when it comes to home energy use," the groups president Drew Johnson
said in the statement.
But a spokesman for Gore quickly fired back Monday night, claiming,
"The Gore's purchase all of their power through the local Green
Powerswitch program -- it is 100 percent renewable power."
"In addition, they are in the midst of a renovation which includes
installing solar panels on their home, which will enable them to use
less power," Gore's spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said in a statement.

That's such nonsense too. It doesn't matter if his power is "green" or
"brown", if he consumed less, more green energy would be available to
others. There's not a limitless supply of power with any colour. By
consuming more energy (from the "green" pool) and thus reducing
availability of green energy, Gore is causing others to consume more
of the "brown" energy instead of "green".
BTW, greenness of energy is a marketing gimmick. No such thing as
completely green, but, hydro has always been "greener". By excluding
large scale hydro from green, energy companies have an excuse to
charge more for a more exclusive source (and gain good publicity for
themselves as well as those users who have too much money).

I think this one is about ready to join Pelosi's airplane.

He buys his hypocrite rich man share from a public utility.
Records in a public utility are public.
His mansion has 20 rooms and eight ***** rooms and
a heated pool.
I pay $100 a month, Gore pays $1,200 per month.
No argument.
That takes a lot of trees to make that up. Where are the trees?
Then he has the gall to preach on the subject!
