How/Why "Liberal" Fundraising Groups Weaken the Democratic Party |
It should be pretty obvious riling up the base isn't the best strategy
for Democrats to garner the independent vote and get into office.
A riled up voter has only one vote whether he is a little riled up,
super duper riled up or foaming at the mouth riled up. At the same
time riled up special interest groups turn off the independent voters
necessary for Democrats to get elected and appoint liberal judges.
Divide and conquor in general is counterproductive to bringing about a
liberal society and will decrease the number of liberal Democratic
Party candidates getting elected/appointed to public office.
Judging from all the fuss over Republican judicial appointees, it
certainly appears Democratic Party senators do not believe that Bush is
going to appoint liberal judges.
So the question becomes, why do so many "liberal" groups out to raise
money think it is soooo important to "rile up the base?"
The answer is self evident. "Liberal" fundraising groups can get more
MONEY from a super duper riled up voter which is apparently more
important to them than Democratic Party candidates getting elected and
appointing liberal judges.
In short, the "liberal" fundraising groups don't really give a rat's
behind if Democrats capture the independent vote, get elected and
appoint liberal judges.
These groups are more interested in raising money for a cause than the
cause itself.
Democrats need to give the parasoid pseudo liberal fundraising frauds
the old heave ho.

out. Please send some more money so I can spend the next 18 years
working hard at not figgering it out.]
