cause.
The Iraq Study Group says that there should be negotiations with any
Palestinians who "accept Israel's right to exist".
If I were an Israeli, I would be more interested in negotiating with
people who are willing to stop attacking me, whether they recognize my
right to exist or not. I don't even care if they have empathy with my
situation, as long as their self-interest leads them to act in a way
which benefits me.
