Object: On Wisdom
Datum makes up data which can be assembled into information, but data is not
information.
Information made of data is not knowledge, but knowledge is made up of
information.
Without information there is no knowledge, but one can have information and
still have no knowledge of value.
Knowledge can lead one to wisdom, and wisdom can contain much valuable
knowledge, but all the knowledge in the world will not automatically deliver
wisdom to a man.
Therefore I postulate that:
Wisdom stands alone and towers above all forms of data, information and
knowledge.
Wisdom isn't found in the head, and Wisdom isn't found in the heart either.
It is realised somewhere in-be-tween, such as the white space in this
newsgroup message.
Now Knowing that, is indeed Wisdom!!!
All one needs is Wisdom, with the Freedom and Unconditional Love to use it
Wisely.

----------------------------------------------------
So what do you think about Wisdom? Is it everything it is cracked up to be?
Was Solommon actually wrong in his judgements, but wise enough to hire a
good PR representative and biographer?
-----------------------------------------------------
Here's two biblical philosophy questions?
Why did Solomon decide to give the child to one of the women, after he had
already decided to cut it in two?
Would the world be better off if the Bible had never been shared around the
world, and this story of Solomon and others had disappeared into a lost mess
of data somewhere?
-----------------------------------------------------
Some scientific questions about Wisdom.
Does Wisdom exist? Is it useful to mankind or to science?
Have double blind studies been done to determine the existance or
cost/benefits of Wisdom?
If not, is such a thing then only a theory?
Wouldn't that make my theory as good as any other?
Is there a scientific test for Wisdom? If not, is it possible to make one?
And if Wisdom does exist, how does it play a role in the Evolution of
Species?
--------------------------------------------------
So many questions, so little time! <smile>

I am an equally opportunity poster. Sometimes I try to make a post that all
people will find at least one thing that is objectionable or irrational to
them.
So much of this group seems to be about rationality versus a love or desire
for WISDOM.

In case anyone has forgotten what philosophy means::
Philosophy is a field of study that includes diverse subfields such as
aesthetics, epistemology, ethics, logic, and metaphysics, in which people
ask questions such as whether God exists, whether knowledge is possible, and
what makes actions right or wrong.

A beginners guide sure, but it's a start!!! <VBG>
