One way this NG has helped me |
Whenever the subject of "free will" or "mind body
dualism" or "a life not worth live, if unexamined",
I don't have to think about it any more.

I was trying to say, not that I learned anything, but
that I thought enough about the ideas to not feel
drawn into them any more. Like a vaccination.
Now I feel quite superior because my ego is less.
I do not know what people mean anymore when
they say 'mind'. And I feel sorry for Socrates
having to choose between suicide and a life under
repression and think Dr. Phil is an ***** hole for
using that particular quote in the beginning of one
of his books.
