PROTOCOLS... Allegedly Originated As Satire |
I had previously read that a French monk had created it in the 19th
century, that the Czar's secret police "forged" it, that Henry Ford's
DEARBORN INDEPENDENT widely distributed it, and that nazis & Jew-haters
over-dose on it, including to discredit/
trash/bash Jews and Israel.
Nat Hentoff, an outspoken (including anti-abortion)
intellectual, claims
some black
college newspapers in the U.S. have re-published THE PROTOCOLS... .
So I am rhetorically curious/cynical
what they may be publishing about Darfur.
Richard Rubenstein in his insightful AFTER AUSCHWITZ
convinces me it (THE PROTOCOLS...)
is a counter/reverse to the Jews as
chosen-people idea/
myth.
Jews r human beings, thank you, Richard Rubenstein, profoundly:
Jews are not super-humans, nor sub-humans.
I'm more agnostic than before I skimmed his mid-1960s
atheistic, existentialist ideas/book, which have
had much influence upon my own philosophizing/ideas of reality.
I suppose many accept THE PROTOCOLS...
as truth enough, and so, please, I'm
not posting this to provoke a
pisssing contest, exchanges of flames/insults.
The book review is FYI, for your & my information/touting.

Yet, "The Plot: The Secret Story of The Protocols of the Elders of
Zion," by writer-artist Will Eisner =97 a giant in the
illustrated-literature genre =97 manages to make it just that.
Only in recent years =97 with the explosion of live-action films like
"Spider-Man," "Batman Begins," "X-Men" and so forth =97 have comic books
been considered big business.
At the same time, the originators of the genre are finally being
recognized as truly talented individuals with fascinating histories.
And, coincidentally or otherwise, the giants of illustratrated
literature happen to be ...
