Yes. For a responsible woman, choosing to abort is a very difficult
decision to make. Why punish her further than what she is already going
through? For an irresponsible woman, choosing to abort may be a very
easy decision to make. What kind of parent would she make if she was
forced to have the baby?
In general, why/how would you ever want to force someone to have a baby?

How could anyone know what someone's reasons are for
anything? It's often said that having babies is a way of avoiding
responsibility by creating a welfare claim. How many people
just do not feel comptent to raise children or are afraid of
continuing what has been called a cycle of abuse... ? What kinds
of reasons do women have for not putting their unborn children
in a situation where they can be adopted, would be intersting to
me. Are women less desirable to men who might become husbands?
It wouldn't be a bad bet to say that that is more than likely.

After the age of viability, abortion is not forcing someone to have a baby.
It is
forcing someone to not end a 'viable' life.
