Is this the best value physics book ever?
Admittedly it's on a CD-ROM, but who cares for the price.

Surely they've published more than 7400 pages in a century! From my own
experience of some of the science journals, that's just the output of one
year.

The link variously claims the product has "1288 pages", "more than
1000 papers" and "more than 7500 papers"; so who knows what you are
getting? Typos, for one thing.

I have the book/CD. The book is 1288 pages, consisting of a few hundred
papers (major landmark papers), and the CD contains the contents of the
book plus additional papers. It's one of those books I'm glad I have.
Also, be advised that the original CD had some problems working with
Windoze- if there is a problem, contact APS (American Physical Soc.) and
they should send you a good one.

Are all the papers complete, rather than highlights?

Papers, not pages. It's highlights. I am not disparaging it, quite
the contrary! However, it is by no means a database. The pertinent
question is, how can the CD be searched?
