A H-Bomb Trigger, for a mini-nuke |
Well, my 10 million pound press will always break
with a sample size always large enough to work.
So the focused shochwave is to trigger the
hydrogen directly.

The asterisks above denote the side view of the
cone.
A cylinder of explosives denoted by the XXXXXXXX
about one inch in diameter and ten inchs long.
And the "H" denotes the focus of the parabola.
A durable steel focus plate must be high high
tempered. 100psi steel is large enough to trigger
with the 10 gigapound level at H.
The explosive must be special ultrafast kind.
It must all explode in 1e-6 seconds.
So ultrafast explosive is required.
A conventional expolsive will apply.
And of course fire the explosion on the
left end towards the steel focus plate!!!!!
Hurray. A ten inch diameter plate. Ten inchs
of cylinderical explosives and the small Hydrogen
sample cooled to liquied helium.
And the shockwave will trigger the small h-bomb
to thence trigger the larger. An unbalanced
trigger may self destructe without effecting the
secondary core.

A special Polonium/Be fast forming
neutron source can be loaded into the explosives. A Small can can be
placed before H. A one inch thick can like a tuna fish can would work
perfect.
It will squash nicely and timely.

To levitate the steel parabola is to use
all its inertia. In one usec it must be
massive enough to just start to move.
A ten oounze plate is sufficient.

YOU STILL FUCKING DON'T KNOW HOW TO SMOOTH RALEIGH-TAYLOR
INSTABILITY. You don't know how to build shaped charges, either, or
anything about implosion tamper.

You tell me then.
My reflector design is the exact thing used on
tanks. The report was quite clear. The supersonic
wavefront truely meets to front edge of the burning
explosives.
It punches the hole for the uranium penetrator
to go through.
