I really have to explain where I was for the last few days. I was
trying to make sense of the giant hodgepodge of papers on Energy or
related to Energy in arXiv and Front For the Mathematics ArXiv/arXiv.
And I learned an important lesson that I hope sci.physics.research and
sci.physics will learn.
Even the papers of Creative Geniuses need to be related to each other
by a Creative Genius. Steven Carlip of U.C. Davis comes closest to
doing that in sci.physics.research, and others have tried but usually
failed. For all the Creative Genius papers that I have mentioned in my
last thread as being on arXiv and Front, the result is still a
hodgepodge of different topics and different interpretations of similar
topics that lacks organization almost entirely.
The lesson is that if you find disorganization, you need to fill it in.
Don't take the role of a passive viewer of physics, an Ingenious
Imitator, or even worse a Mediocre person. Your role should be to
organize the disorganized, find fundamentals where there is only an
appearance of confusion and surface results, simplify the complicated,
find common features at least as much as differences.
If you look at arXiv and Front for Energy, using various different
keywords, you'll find energy, energy density, plane waves, energy
explained by Dark Energy, energy explained by non-Dark-Energy (with
various subcategories), energy functionals, harmonic energy
functionals, harmonic analysis, potential functions, energy extraction,
surface energy, zero point energy, zero energy, nonzero but low energy,
fusion, chemical energy, eternal black holes, white holes, black rings,
naked singularities, dark energy, energy (of) condensation, symbolic
dynamics, energy feedback, feedback, energy measure(s), potential
measures, and on and on.
