Applying an idea further than it was originally intended |
Dear all,
I'm looking for the source of a quote, that goes something like
"many great discoveries in physics come from taking a good idea and
applying it far outside the domain in which it was first intended to be
used". Can anyone help?

Well, yeah, that's a great one... but I don't think it's quite what I'm
looking for, unfortunately.
