Which of the two is correct in the English language?
Mathworld: "An n-th rank tensor of order m is a mathematical
object in m-dimensional space which has n indices and m^n
components and obeys certain transformation rules."
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Tensor.html
Many texts use "order" in stead of "rank" though.
