It's a very good paper. I am studying it. It will take a few weeks. It
naturally meshes with what I have been doing where Einstein's guv field
is emergent from the post-inflationary COHERING of the purely random
zero point fluctuations of the pre-inflationary false vacuum. The
alternative gauge force representation to orthodox geometrodynamics is
fine. It's like Heisenberg vs Schrodinger Pictures in quantum field theory.
The stability of c-number space-time is in the PW Anderson "More is
different" "generalized rigidity" (not completely rigid obviously) of
the world hologram Goldstone phase that is the source of the Brazilian's
gauge force potential B^au that is the NON-TRIVIAL part of the tetrads.
The Einstein equivalence principle is encoded locally in the tetrads.
The non-trivial part of the tetrad is the compensating gauge force field
from locally gauging ONLY the 4-parameter T4 translation subgroup of the
15 parameter conformal group. Yes, the Ricci coefficients are the SIX
GLOBAL CONSTANT "PHASES" one for each element Sab of the Lorentz group,
which is NOT YET locally gauged in 1916 GR! Locally gauge them, and you
get Gennady Shipov's theory of the oriented test particles! There are 5
more elements in the conformal group Lie algebra to locally gauge. All
of these compensating local gauge force fields translate into the
physical geometrodynamic connection fields on the 4D space-time
manifold. What is PHYSICALLY important for dynamics are the connection
fields.
Sakharov's idea is really gravity from the partial cohering of the zero
point vacuum fluctuations in the pre-inflationary false unstable vacuum
without gravity or inertia.
Lp^2 = hG/c^3
is the micro-quantum uncertainty scale as we fine-grain the smooth
macro-quantum OLDRO fabric of emergent curved and torsioned and ... 4D
spacetime. Maybe ND including fermion dimensions in a further
generalization.
In the pre-inflationary false vacuum G = 0, h =/= 0, c finite. If you
believe Volovik then c = infinity in the false vacuum! That is special
relativity is emergent renormalization group flow fixed point symmetry
from a non-relativistic substratum with an instant Bohm quantum
potential in Galilean relativity.
However, the residual micro-quantum zero point energy density is not ~
1/Lp^2, but is on FLRW large-scale
/\ ~ Lp^-2(1 - Lp^2|Vacuum Coherence|^2) = throat parameter of de
Sitter space local horizon at our detectors
/\ ~ (10^28 cm)^-2
This is contingent in sense of WAP, e.g. Susskind's landscape.

local horizon is from

The Hawking-Bekenstein asymptotic entropy of the universe S is from
S(Universe)/kB = (1/4)(Lp^2/\)^-1
To make it time dependent. We need something like
S(t) = (1/4)(Lp^2/\)^-1[1 - e^-R(t)]
R(t) is dimensionless FRW scale factor
where R(initial singularity) = 0
S(initial singularity) = 0
S(far future) = (1/4)(Lp^2/\)^-1
which would explain the Arrow of Time of the Second Law of Thermodynamics
This works, I think, even for a finite spherical Poincare dodecahedral
Pong Game universe with topological mirror images in wide angle
quadrupole and octopole anomalous dips in the WMAP power spectrum of
primordial Big Bang temperature correlations with Omega a little bigger
than 1.
