| When you're dead, what will determine the date?

It will be relative to some previous historic event, such as
0256 GMT, 21 July 1969 AD = 0256 GMT 21 July YEAR ZERO,
which is how years are counted.
Regretfully years aren't counted like that - there was no year zero...

The year zero was the year before the year one, but one doesn't
expect fuckwit catholic relativists to know how to count.

For those who like rules, the UN (today's Obscure Monks) could clean
things up by adopting the following Resolution:
Given that there was no year zero, that number not being known 2,000
years ago, and that being nobody's fault, except possibly the Romans;
and given that the Arabs posthumously invented the number zero, albeit
too late, and that also being nobody's fault, except possibly the
Romans; let it be decreed that all of time before the year 1 A.D. be
agreed by all Nations (except possibly the Romans) to consist of one
Extended Year, to which is allocated the number zero.
Let it be further clarified that, consequential to the above paragraph,
the First Day of January in the year 2000 shall be, is, and was, the
first day of the Third Millennium.,
That should satisfy both those who like round numbers and those who
like to follow Rules. The Romans might object, but what good did they
ever do for us?
Except, of course, the Roads ...

As I expected, you have all missed the point of the question.
The fact is, the concept of a 'present' exists only wrt a particular life (or
common life)...(and of course, its 'now' would be NOW everywhere since
simultaneity is absolute).
Without life, there could be no' present' and all times throughout history
would have equal status.
There could be no particular 'date'.
So in this respect, all dates exist concurrently. The dinosaurs are still with
us.

It will be relative to some previous historic event, such as
0256 GMT, 21 July 1969 AD = 0256 GMT 21 July YEAR ZERO,
which is how years are counted.
According to Ray Milland, the Year Zero was 1962.

Funny how you dingbats prefer facetious trivia to fact. No great
event took place in 1962 AD, but one did 21 July 1969 AD
and you will never find its equal throughout all human history or
future.
