Object: Ballistic Trajectory With Friction
I have written a program for my HP-48 Calculator to make a table of
ballistic trajectory considering real world friction. I did this as a
challenge to myself and as a refresher for my physics and math
skills. Would you guys mind checking my math and physics reasoning in
the little paper I wrote up for it. The paper is not intended to be a
serious peer reviewed document, but it would be nice to have someone
else take a look at it.

No closed form solution exists for projectile motion with drag (varies
with the square of velocity) so your program (couldn't open the file)
should consist of a series of small time interval steps to recalculate
velocity and position.

That's strange. I can down load it and open from here. What error
are you getting?

You want us to go to your FTP site, download and unpack a ZIP,

It's too much trouble for you to post your calculations

I don't like posting calculus in plain text. This is for the reader's
convenience not mine.

This is very similar to my result. I have compared the output of my
program to professional ballistics programs, and it seems to be right
on the money.
