BASIC STAMP Computer and Real Time Control |
I was trying to get the basic STAMP to time, and found out the need to
either do complex clock interfacing of simple crystal timing.
ANd so the crystal that is checked for state change every second was
the evident simple method. Disallowing the easy 5 millisecond delay?
I am making a nuke "simulator" and need to time the explosives with
the accelerator.
A 5 millisecond delay means wait for several cycles of the computer.
So it is a difficult thing weighing the accuracy of the computer cycle
to time the accelerator trigger or not.
And after weighing the evidence a special switch to fire the double
event was found likely necessary.
_____________explosives

STamp----------------outputline x------------------switch.
|_____________accelerator(+5 milliseconds)
A two contact switch with a five millisencond delay for the second's
closure!!
I need some help. Who has a bullet proof circuit!.
Thanks in advance.
