I suspect it depends on your mood and (to a lesser extent) your political
opinions.
Personally I would suggest downloading all the messages when you have a
spare hour or two. Read at least a bit of each one and determine who (in
your opinion) is a crank.
From my point of view, the ones who rant a lot about something Einstein is
supposed to have said (and has nothing to do with physics) or the ones who
refuse to accept any experimental evidence should be avoided. (As should
OsherD, Daniel Joseph Min and Turcard).
Some of the cranks can be entertaining enough to communicate with.
